About this paper

Part 2 (Q51–100) of the Sir Adnan '1000 Advanced Booklet Everyday Science' one-liner compilation (monster-data 'CSS MPT PAST PAPERS' pack). The booklet prints statement + answer only, so each item is published in the standard MCQ format with 3 authored plausible distractors under Anas's 2026-10-28 single-format decision and optionsSource recorded as 'authored'. All 50 printed items are published with no drops and no corrections. Five items carry NOTE flags rather than corrections: Q61 (LPG also comes from crude-oil refining, about 40% of supply, alongside natural-gas processing); Q68 (the “King of Fossil Fuels” epithet is also applied to coal as “King Coal”, but the booklet’s oil answer follows the textbook one-liner usage); Q70 (Karachi hosted the region’s earliest power plant, KESC 1914, while large-scale post-independence thermal development came later at Guddu, Kotri and Quetta); Q86 (aviation fuel is a refinery fraction/product, loosely called a by-product in the booklet); Q99 (oil leads on energy density by volume; by mass, natural gas is higher). This is a practice set, never titled as a past paper, and Q101–1000 remain for later runs.

Paper practice FAQs

Is this a CSS MPT past paper? +

No. This is a practice set built from the Sir Adnan '1000 Advanced Booklet Everyday Science' one-liner compilation. It is labelled practice in the title, slug and paperType and must not be quoted as an official past paper.

Why are all 50 printed items published here? +

Every item in Q51–100 has a verifiable standard answer (coal, oil and gas facts, OPEC, LPG/LNG/CNG, nuclear, solar and wind, coal types and refinery products). Nothing had to be dropped as unanswerable, and no booklet answer needed correction; five items carry NOTE flags explaining a nuance instead.

The original list had no options — why are these options authored? +

The source prints statement + answer only, with no (a)-(d) options. Under Anas's 2026-10-28 single-format decision, each item is published in the standard MCQ format with 3 authored plausible distractors; the questions and answers are the booklet's, and every answer was verified as the standard answer. optionsSource is recorded as 'authored' so authored options are never mistaken for the paper's.

What does this part cover, and what comes next? +

Q51–100 cover coal, oil and OPEC, gas fuels (LPG, LNG, CNG), hydrogen, nuclear, solar and wind energy, coal types and refinery products. The booklet runs to 1000 items; Q101–1000 are held for later conversion runs in the same format.
