About this paper

A 30-item maths portion (printed Q31–60) from the Sir Adnan booklet headed 'CSS GSA 2024' in the monster-data 'CSS MPT PAST PAPERS' pack. All 30 printed items are published in the standard MCQ format with their printed options, verified answers and explanations; optionsSource is 'printed'. Nine items carry duplicate-option flags (two printed options identical) and two items (printed Q46 and Q57) are published in the revised form the source itself printed after its first version failed (Q46's first option set omitted the correct value 108; Q57's first shift pattern matched no option). The booklet prints only Q31–60 here, so this is labelled as a partial section, never as a full paper.

The angles of a triangle are in the ratio 2 : 3 : 4. The largest angle is:

A

60°

B

70°

C

80°

D

90°

View answer & explanation Ans: 80°

Correct Answer: 80°

The angles of a triangle sum to 180°. The ratio has 2+3+4 = 9 parts, so each part is 180° / 9 = 20°, and the largest angle is 4 x 20° = 80°.

Work

1 solved MCQs shown directly below

No Dropdown
Q 25 General Abilities Work

A is twice as efficient as B. Together they finish a job in 6 days. The time for B alone is:

A

12 days

B

18 days

C

9 days

D

15 days

View answer & explanation Ans: 18 days

Correct Answer: 18 days

Let B's rate be x per day, so A's rate is 2x and the combined rate is 3x. The job takes 1/(3x) = 6 days, so 3x = 1/6 and x = 1/18; B alone needs 1/x = 18 days.

Questions

Paper practice FAQs

Is this the full CSS GSA 2024 paper? +

No. The booklet prints only questions 31–60, all maths, so this is published as a partial section with that numbering retained. It must not be quoted as the full GSA paper.

How many questions are published, and were any dropped? +

All 30 printed items (Q31–60) are published; none was dropped. Every answer was rechecked against its worked solution.

Why do some questions have two identical options? +

Nine items print the correct value twice (for example Q47 prints 16√3 cm² as both options A and B). The duplication is flagged in keyFlag on each affected question and the answer is unchanged.

What happened with questions 46 and 57? +

The source itself corrected both after first printing a faulty version: Q46's first option set omitted the correct value 108, and Q57's first increasing-shift pattern gave DJDMW, which matched no option. Both are published here in the source's own revised form, with the correction recorded in keyFlag.
